Frankel Zacharia is looking for talented and motivated students to join our firm as interns and get a first-hand look at public accounting. An Internship with Frankel Zacharia introduces students to both the tax and audit approaches within our Firm and gives the opportunity to gain real world experience. The internships run January – April and May– August, working at least 15 hours per week.


Our campus recruiting is where we primarily find our future interns. We will be participating in Meet The Firms for Creighton University, University of Nebraska Lincoln, University of Nebraska Omaha, and the National College Recruiting Consortium. For students who may not attend one of these schools, or may not be able to attend one of these events, we do have our job posting listed on Handshake. All professionals in the firm attend national training conferences with outstanding national instructors. Everyone also participates in ongoing local and regional training conferences. We hold in-house training with high regard – more experienced members of the firm share their knowledge with younger associates.


We commit time and resources towards and encourage community involvement. All members of the firm are involved in a wide range of community organizations, including charitable, philanthropic and professional groups.


Interns will gain an understanding of the procedures performed in providing audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statements. In addition, interns will gain valuable experience by assisting with the preparation of individual and corporate tax returns.


Yes, long hours are required during the ‘busy season’, but that’s the nature of our profession. Family and social life is a priority for us. Vacation benefits and flexible working schedules are made available to young professionals.


Staff marketing meetings, facilitated and attended by our young professionals, are held throughout the year. Professionals at all levels are assigned a mentor, consisting of an experienced member of the firm. Mentor meetings are encouraged to take place periodically to assist in the ongoing professional development of all associates of the firm, and to make sure associates get started on the right track to success.
