SEASONAL TAX PREPARERS NEEDED!
Frankel Zacharia, one of Omaha’s largest local CPA firms, is seeking experienced tax preparers for the 2012 busy season (JAN-APR). These positions report directly to the Tax Partner. The positions involve preparing individual, corporate and partnership tax returns. Other related duties or responsibilities to be assigned as needed.

Applicants with the qualifications listed below are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of tax preparation experience
  • Ability to work “as needed” during the months January through April, which could be less or more than anticipated hours
  • Computer Savvy
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Alphanumeric and 10 key experience
  • Ability to work independently and also in a highly stressful environment
  • Desire to be part of a dynamic and growing firm.

Temporary Payroll Tax Cut Continuation Act
At the eleventh hour, Congress approved a two-month extension of the employee-side payroll tax cut in the Temporary Payroll Tax Cut Continuation Act of 2011. The two-month extension, for January and February 2012, is intended to give lawmakers additional time to negotiate a full-year extension of the payroll tax cut through the end of 2012.
